Suspect Charged In Hartford After Shooting Of Woman: Police: UPDATE
Hartford police said a suspect is in custody in the shooting of a woman in her 50s, who was in critical condition.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police charged a city man on Tuesday in connection with a shooting on Oakland Terrace that left a woman in critical but stable condition.
Police identified the suspect as Jermane Daley, 39, of Hartford.
Daley was charged with first-degree assault and criminal use of a firearm. His bond was set at $1.5 million.

Officers responded at about 11:55 a.m. to a report of a shooting at an address on Oakland Terrace, according to the Hartford Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a woman in her 50s suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions took over the investigation.
Police said investigators quickly identified the suspect.
With assistance from the Violent Crimes Unit, Patrol Division, and Emergency Response Team, officers located and arrested the suspect without incident.
