Hartford Man Charged In Fatal Bond Street Stabbing: UPDATE
Hartford police said a suspect has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 32-year-old woman early Monday morning.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police have arrested a 47-year-old city man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman on Bond Street early Monday morning.
Victor Rivera, 47, of Hartford, has been charged in connection with the killing of Nykole Tellado, 32, according to an update from the Hartford Police Department.
Police said Rivera has officially been charged with murder and is being held on a $2,700,500 bond pending an appearance in Hartford Superior Court.

Officers responded to the area of 55 Bond St. at about 4:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, following a report that a woman had been stabbed.
Officers found Tellado unresponsive, police said. She was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Hartford Police Department's Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions responded and took over the investigation.
Police said the investigation remains active and ongoing. No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing were released in the update.
