Female Victim Identified After Hartford Shooting: Reports: UPDATE
The two shooting victims were inside a car and were shot early Friday morning.
HARTFORD, CT — One woman is dead and another was rushed to the hospital after a double-shooting early Friday morning in Hartford, according to multiple reports.
Citing the Hartford Police Department, WFSB Channel 3 said the shooting was reported at about 12:50 a.m. at 40 Cleveland Ave.
Citing the HPD, WFSB and other stations identified the victim as Shamyria Williams, 23.

WFSB reported that the two victims were both in their 20s and were seated inside a car during the shooting, with the woman dead and the male believed to be conscious.
WTNH Channel 8, citing an aunt of the woman killed, said the fatal victim was on her cell phone when she was shot.
