Woman Kidnapped On Hartford Street Thursday Morning: Reports

The suspect's vehicle was last seen in Glastonbury and may be heading to Rhode Island.

HARTFORD, CT — City police said Thursday morning they're investigating a possible kidnapping on Maple Street in Hartford, according to news reports.

WFSB Channel 3, citing the Hartford Police Department, said a woman may have been kidnapped in town, with police looking for the suspect's vehicle.

That vehicle is believed to be a 2009 Hyundai Sante Fe, with Rhode Island plates 1YD 582, according to WVIT Channel 30.

WVIT reports the vehicle was last seen in the Glastonbury area, with police speculating it might be headed to Rhode Island.
