Woman Shot In Hartford Overnight: Police
Hartford police are investigating a shooting that sent a woman in her 50s to the hospital.
HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a shooting that left a woman in her 50s injured Tuesday on Wethersfield Avenue.
Officers responded to 267 Wethersfield Ave. after receiving a report of a shooting, according to police in a statement released Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The woman sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was transported by emergency medical personnel to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation.
