2 Ledyard Men Charged In Car Chase, Firearm Theft: Report
Police said two Ledyard men charged in a car chase are also accused of conspiring to steal three firearms from a Preston home.

LEDYARD, CT — Police said two Ledyard men accused of throwing a stolen pistol out a car window are also accused of conspiring to steal three firearms from a Preston home, the New London Day reported. The men were recently arraigned in court, where they pleaded not guilty to their charges.
According to the Day, state police allege 21-year-old Jordan X. Lacey broke into a Preston home and stole three guns while 23-year-old Frank I. Kelly kept the owner busy as they drove around together.
Police said the two were also charged in a May 2017 car chase where Lacey allegedly fled from an officer after he attempted to pull the vehicle over for speeding. Police said a stolen pistol was later thrown from the vehicle during the chase, which DNA testing later traced to Kelly, who was a passenger during the incident.
