2 Ledyard Men Charged With Stealing Firearms: Report
Police said two Ledyard men have been charged in a Preston burglary in which multiple firearms were stolen.
PRESTON, CT — Police said two Ledyard men have been charged in a Preston burglary in which three firearms were stolen, the New London Day reported. The incident occurred at a Lake of Isles Road residence in March 2017, police said.
Police said 23-year old Frank Ishod Kelly and 21-year old Jordan Xavier Lacey, both of Ledyard, have both been charged in the burglary, according to the New London Day. Police said Kelly allegedly distracted the homeowner by hanging out with him so Lacey could get into the home and steal the firearms.
Both suspects were previously charged in other cases, including an incident in May where Lacey allegedly led police on a chase that damaged two cruisers, the New London Day reported. Kelly is due to appear in court Wednesday while Lacey was given a court date of Jan. 31.
