2 Men Charged in Crash After Hitting Tree in Ledyard: Police
Police said two men were recently charged in a crash after one of them allegedly hit their car into a tree.

LEDYARD, CT - Police said two men were recently charged in a crash after one of them allegedly hit their car into a tree; the suspect then allegedly got help from the other man to leave the scene, the New London Day reported.
Robert C. Wade, 25, and Nathaniel S. Lindsey, 22, were both charged in the incident, according to the New London Day. Wade was charged with traveling too fast for conditions and evading responsibility, while Lindsey was charged on warrants with five counts of failure to appear in court. Police responded to the incident early Friday morning and found Wade's vehicle resting against a tree with moderate damage, the New London Day reported. Wade was located at his residence shortly after, who allegedly told police that Lindsey had picked him up from the crash.
