3 Arrested, Charged In Home Invasion: Ledyard PD

LEDYARD, CT - Police said three suspects have been arrested and charged in a Ledyard home invasion. The incident occurred on July 20 at a home on Smith Pond Way, police said.

Police said at the time of the incident that 15 handguns were stolen and the owner was forced to the ground after two men and a woman entered his home with at least one firearm. The victim's truck and some electronic devices were also reported missing.

Police said the department dedicated countless hours to the investigation, culminating in the three suspects' arrest, according to a release.

Kylie Pierson, 36, of Norwich was charged with home invasion, stealing a firearm, burglary and robbery among other charges, police said.

Kristal Lis, 27, of Mystic was charged with home invasion, stealing a firearm, burglary and robbery among other charges, police said.

Mitchell Ellerbe, 31, of Hartford was charged with home invasion, burglary, robbery and criminal possession of a firearm, police said.

Police said the New London Police Department, Hartford Police Department, the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, Connecticut State Police Troop K and the New Haven and New London FBI offices all assisted in the investigation.
