4 Ledyard Students Earn Student Leadership Award

Four Ledyard students were recently recognized by CABE with a Student Leadership Award.

LEDYARD, CT — Two Ledyard High School and two Ledyard Middle School students were recently recognized by the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) with a Student Leadership Award.

According to a news release, students are nominated by their school principal on the basis of demonstrated leadership skills.

Superintendent Jason Hartling and Ledyard Board of Education Chair Anthony Favry presented the awards at the May 16 Board of Education Meeting.

The award winners (pictured from left to right) were Ledyard High School Seniors Trevor Hutchins and Avery Samoker, and Ledyard Middle School 8th graders Angel Spears-Johnson and Chris Houdeshell.
