8th Annual Walk to End Homelessness is Sunday, April 26
Proceeds benefit individuals experiencing homelessness in southeastern Connecticut.
The 8th Annual Walk to End Homelessness will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, starting from the New London Homeless Hospitality Center’s parking lot at 325 Huntington St.
The walk is organized by NLHHC and Connecticut College; major sponsors are Dominion Resources and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. All proceeds benefit NLHHC.
The 2.5-mile walk will follow a route passing by or near many sites of significance to those who are homeless, including the former shelter at St. James Episcopal Church, the New London Meal Center and the American Job Center. Read more.

NLHHC, founded in 2006, provides hospitality and a bridge to permanent housing for adults experiencing homelessness in New London County. It serves more than 500 individuals annually.
