LEDYARD, CT — A woman suffered a “minor” chest injury in a chainsaw accident Tuesday morning, according to police.
Capt. Kenneth Creutz said the woman was cutting logs when the saw kicked back on her, nicking her chest.
“The injury was minor,” Creutz said. “Obviously, (it) could have been much worse.”
A man who was there called emergency services immediately, according to Creutz.
The accident happened around 10:15 a.m. on Spicer Hill Road.
