• Nenna delivers an ECC Division II title to Ledyard (theday.com) — Ledyard baseball fans just saw history, as sophomore pitcher Jake Nenna threw a three-hit shutout to give Ledyard High an ECC Division II championship at Dodd Stadium. After years of 1-19 and 2-18 seasons, the Colonels’ seniors finally walked off with a trophy, capping a rapid rebuild that should excite local sports followers.
