• Ledyard Finance Committee To Consider Higher Bulky Waste Fees, Over $45K In Tax Refunds (patch.com) — Ledyard residents may soon see higher bulky waste fees as the town's Finance Committee weighs new disposal rates and more than $45,000 in tax refunds to Wahlburgers. The committee will also discuss how transfer station revenues fund facility upgrades, options for using Ledyard's opioid settlement money, and strategies to limit mill rate increases in the 2027-28 budget. A hybrid public meeting is set for Wednesday at the Town Hall Annex.
   

• Driver hurt after SUV rolls over in Ledyard crash on wet road: Police (fox61.com) — A driver was hospitalized after a high-speed SUV rollover crash Sunday evening on Indiantown Road in Ledyard, where wet conditions and a missed curve sent the vehicle into a stone wall and onto its roof. Another driver narrowly avoided a collision and stayed to help, the passenger declined treatment, and police say the road has since reopened.
