LEDYARD, CT — The Permanent Municipal Building Committee is scheduled to consider a $24,400 contract credit and more than $32,000 in payments for Juliet W. Long School's heating and cooling project Nov. 9.
The proposed change order, dated Oct. 21, would provide the credit for unused allowances under the town's contract with Nutmeg Companies Inc. for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning installation at the school.
Members will also consider Nutmeg's payment application for $29,292.30. The proposed approval is contingent on satisfactory completion of the remaining work.
Two additional payments for the HVAC project are on the agenda: a Colliers invoice for $1,476.80 and a Friar Architecture Inc. invoice for $1,250. All three payment requests are dated Oct. 31 and total $32,019.10.
The committee is also scheduled to receive updates and discuss budget documents for the HVAC project and roof projects at Juliet W. Long School, Gales Ferry School and the Board of Education central office. An HVAC financial report is linked in the agenda.
