The Arc of New London Eyeing Land in Ledyard

LEDYARD, CT – The Arc of New London is looking to acquire land in town to develop a community supported agriculture program, The Day reported.

Several sites were visited last week by representatives from the Land Use, Planning and Public Works committee The Arc, according to The Day. The sites were located along Hilltop Drive, Village Drive and Route 117.

The Arc provides food, housing and other services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The Day reported. The organization is hoping to plan an approximate acre of vegetables.
