Amazing Adele
I knew I absolutely loved the song I was listening to on the radio, when I felt goose bumps on my body.
I’ve must have heard Rolling in the Deep, by Adele a katrillion times on the radio, before I even knew who Adele was, all I knew was that I absolutely loved this song.
I Googled the song title and Adele 21 came up, along with Adele 19. I purchased Adele 21 and was mesmerized by this wonderful songstress. From her unique voice, her gut-wrenching lyrics and her passion, I realized this woman sings from the depths of her soul, and I can actually feel her words. As I was driving and listening to her sing, I felt myself tear up to her love’s lost, her pain and how I could relate.
It was more than listening to just music, it was listening to poetry, and how she explains in all her songs what her lyrics are about, who she sings for; what memories she has; who she loved and lost; and if he remembers her at all.

I then received a copy of Adele 19 and again I felt myself listening to her sing and just feeling her soul, her passion on what is a very sad album. Adele’s genre is R&B; however she is also considered soul, country soul, blues and jazz because she herself is a fan of very diverse artists such as Jill Scott, Etta James, The Cure, Billy Bragg, Peggy Lee and Jeff Buckley.
Adele was born in England and was picked up for a recording contract by XL Recordings due to a three-song demo that her friends posted on MySpace. Lucky for us her friends did that and Adele signed with the label. She is also signed with Columbia Records.

While Adele’s music might not be for everyone, I do believe that it is for most. I highly recommend buying her debut album Adele 19, and her second album Adele 21; I believe you won’t be disappointed, I think Adele’s music will touch you deep in your soul like it did mine, no matter what genre of music you listen to.
Until my next blog have a nice week.
