So "Billie" the goat has gone home! Her owner arrived with a red sequined collar with matching leash and off they went. We loved having her here at the kennel but she is NOT a dog and she let us know that!
We have 2 kittens fighting for their lives. Found in a box, dehydrated, hungry, maybe 4 weeks old. Their little bodies had been shaved? and anyone with information please call us.
Today has been a good day. Many people calling interested in meeting our 2 great adoptable dogs this weekend. Our hours are 9-5 Sat and Sun. We are out often on calls so the early morning and early evening are best.

The Humane Society in Quaker Hill is also having a huge adoption event this week to celebrate their new building.
Another heat wave is coming they say( I know: who's this "they" people are always talking about telling us what the weather will be!) but "they" are usually right, so make sure there is always water available for yor pets, and keep them inside except for potty walks. Watch for signs of lethargy, excess panting, drooling, any signs of dehydration call your vet right away!
