I absolutely love summer, anyone who knows me seriously knows how much I love summer, but even I have to admit that I sometimes, just a little, get excited when fall approaches. Not due to the cooler weather, or Halloween oh no, it's simple; All the new television shows are nearing and all the previous shows that I watch are returning. Well maybe not all, I'm sad to say some did get that dreadful cancellation ax!
In my household one DVR just doesn't do the trick, you have to have at least three DVR's going at all times. Safe to say we all need to get out much more in the Congdon household, but we do love our TV shows. While I'm not too much into reality shows, I do like a very few American Idol and The Voice are my favorite, and of course I have to watch The X Factor, which have previous American Idol judges Simon Cowell who also created and is judging along with Paula Abdul and Kenneth Edmonds aka BabyFace.
We usually take bets on which shows will last and which shows will not make a full season. Usually the shows I don't like seem to last forever and the shows I love get that dreadful ax.

Aside from my returning shows like the very funny Modern Family, The Middle and Two and a Half Men, which I'm looking forward to seeing Ashton Kutcher in his new role on the show; and with my returning dramas Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods and Fringe. I have DVR's set for so many new shows. Revenge, Pan Am, The Playboy Club, Whitney, Unforgettable, Person of Interest and those are just a few. So now you see why in my household one DVR just isn't going to cut it! I'm looking forward to reading what shows you all are planning on watching so we can compare and discuss!
