These days, everyone is very busy. We have sports, scouts, homework, and much more. I remember the days when we were "bored out of our minds" and would play kickball with all of the neighborhood things.
So how do my kids get the best friends I had growing up? Well it most certainly takes more work on my part. I have found many PTO activities are great for encouraging these friendships to bloom.
Tomorrow (Friday), is the PTO skate night. This is where students and families are invitied to Galaxy Roller Rink. For a few bucks, we get to roller skate with friends from school, and only friends from school. It is here that my kids see friends from other activities and those that are simply on the bus or in the class.
