Who Wants To Be Branded?

People at my school and overall just people in society are always looking to buy the expensive brand names. I'm not one of those people and I personally do not, what-so-ever encourage people to buy brand names. It irks me that people judge and attempt to analyze a human being's personality based on how they dress. It's what is on the inside that counts. One of my teachers at my school has a poster that I really take as a motto/ words of wisdom, it says "An original is always worth more than a copy."  This is what the whole situation is about. Citizens in our community try to copy other people and every material square inch of them. Seriously, has anyone ever heard of the word unique??? We are all different!!! I have always said,  "There is no definition of normal, if you are describing a person." But I feel, people are trying to be "normal" because everyone is trying to copy their peers' apperance. But what is "normal"? Why does the name of the brand make it "normal"? It just doesn't matter. All of this is my opinion and I'm not trying to say that you can't be like this. I just disagree with it. :)
