Mohegan Trading Post is owned and operated by husband and wife Michael Kickingbear & Carol Swift-waters Johnson. Michael is an enrolled citizen of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe. Carol is an enrolled citizen of the Mohegan Tribe. Both tribes are locally based in Southeast Connecticut whose reservations are literally fifteen minutes apart.

In the store, you will find for sale, Native American fine art, apparel, indigenous based foods, and a large selection of craft supplies. You will also find authentic hand made jewelry from Mohegan and Pequot designers.

There are Artisanal Candles for sale, free of dyes and made from bees wax sourced from indigenous producers in Canada, with unique essential oil scents such as Sweetgrass, Cranberry, and Cacao Bean.

Always wanted that family photo on a Mug or t-shirt? Mohegan Trading Post also produces custom T-shirts, mugs, and other short-run specialty items to order.

Crafters will truly love the large selection of glass crafting beads in a variety of unique colors that you might not find at those larger crafting stores.
