VIDEO: Robotics Team Visits School Board
Team from Ledyard Middle School Finished First Among 48 Teams
In December the Robotics team won the state championships for the middle school robotics program, called FLL (First Lego League). The team is coached by LMS teacher Keith Kobelski.
"With more than 200 teams in the state competing, and 48 that made the championships, it was quite a feat to have the Ledyard students place at the top," wrote parent Kurt Jannke.
"There were three rounds in the tournament. Ledyard led after all three rounds and put up higher and higher scores as the day progressed. It was exciting to watch the Ledyard kids beat the likes of Simsbury and Greenwich."
