Charity Bookshop Holiday Sale
Books on Sale for a Worthy Cause from Nov. 15 - Jan. 3 We do it for the children!

The Charity Bookshop Holiday Sale runs from Nov. 15 through Jan. 3. Books with yellow dot labels will be on sale at half-price. CD’s, DVD’s, audio-books and tapes will also be on sale. The Charity Bookshop is a non-profit bookstore. All proceeds benefit Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, Inc. Charity Bookshop prices are unbeatable with most items ranging from $0.50 to $3.00. We have a great selection of new and used fiction and non-fiction in both hardcover and paperback. Non-fiction ranges from history and religion to biography and memoirs, cooking, travel, health and many other subjects. We have beautiful books and other items that are suitable for gift-giving, including Musical Heritage Society CD’s. Our children’s shelves are overflowing with books for pre-schoolers to young adults.
Location: 591 Poquonnock Road, Groton, just down the street from the Catherine Kolnaski Magnet School.

Thursday 2PM to 5 PM, 1st Thursday of the month: 2 PM - 7 PM
Closed for Holidays: Nov. 26, Thanksgiving, Dec. 24, Christmas Day, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Our bookshop is staffed by a team of helpful, friendly volunteers who are members of the Groton Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency. Volunteers hail from Groton, Mystic, Waterford, Gales Ferry and Stonington. Come visit us soon!
