Cones, Cars & Trucks At Ledyard 'Meet Your First Responders' Day
Kids and grown-ups can check out fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, and meet first responders at Ledyard event Sunday. Plus, ice cream!
LEDYARD, CT—Free ice cream while checking out fire tucks and police cars. What kid can say no?
Sunday Aug. 4 from 12 noon until 4 p.m., the Ledyard Police Department is teaming up with the Gales Ferry Volunteer Fire Company, Ledyard Animal Control, and American Ambulance for a 'Meet your First Responders' event at Pop's Premium Ice Cream, 39 Military Highway in Gales Ferry.
Kids, and grown-ups, too, can "check out our cars, trucks, and equipment and every child who visits us will receive a ticket good for one free ice cream cone at Pop’s."
