David Burke Prime Steakhouse Reopens At Foxwoods Resort Casino After Renovations

MASHANTUCKET, CT — David Burke Prime Steakhouse at Foxwoods Resort Casino will reopen Friday, Nov. 6, following a temporary closure and renovations to its dining room, bar and kitchen.

The restaurant, located at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, has undergone changes that include additional seating, a rebuilt bar, an expanded wine selection and kitchen upgrades, according to a news release from the restaurant.

The dining room has been reconfigured with additional booths and banquette seating intended to accommodate smaller parties and larger groups.

The bar has been rebuilt with a stone countertop and an expanded beverage program. The restaurant's wine tower also has an expanded selection of wines.

Kitchen renovations were designed to support the restaurant's menu, which includes sushi, Smoking Prime Tower selections, appetizers, steaks and other entrees.

The restaurant's management and culinary leadership remain unchanged. Spencer Relitz, vice president of operations, and Executive Chef Gary LaMothe will continue overseeing operations.

Stephen Goglia, president and CEO of Craveable Hospitality Group, acknowledged the response to an incident last November that preceded the restaurant's closure.

"We also want to extend our sincere thanks to the Mashantucket Pequot Fire Department, Foxwoods personnel and our own staff for their swift response last November and for helping ensure everyone's safety," Goglia said in the release.

Jason Guyot, president and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino, also commented on the reopening.

"David Burke Prime Steakhouse has long been an important part of that experience," Guyot said, referring to the resort's dining operations.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
