Dog Struck by Car in Ledyard; Brought to Animal Hospital

A dog was struck by a car at Colonel Ledyard Highway and Whipple Road, Cindy Eilenberger said via a post on the Leydard C.H.A.I.N. Facebook group. She is asking the owner or anyone who may know the owner to contact Animal Control.

She writes:

URGENT: Dog was hit by a car, who did not stop, at Colonel Ledyard Hwy and Whipple Rd. Ledyard ACO Officer has picked up dog and is rushing it to All Friends Animal Hospital.

The dog she says looks like a red and white Brittany Spaniel type. I’m sorry I have no other details at this moment. This was all I could find out before they put it on a stretcher to go with it.
