Artists' Reception - Tres Senoras: Traditional and Contemporary Art of Margarita Hernandez-Maxson, Sikiu Perez, and Millie Donovan

A reception for the artists of our Tres Senoras exhibit in the i5 Education Center & Gallery within the Gales Ferry Community Center. Featuring ceramics, mixed media, art dolls, and more by Margarita Hernandez-Maxson from Mexico, now living in New London; Sikiu Perez from Venezuela, now living in Bozrah, and Millie Donovan from Puerto Rico, now living in Pawcatuck. This will be followed by a free Cumbria dance lesson for adults and teens.

Activities for children will be taking place in other areas of the building at the same time including Steve Elci & Friends, art, and more.

All events are part of the Hispanic Cultural Heritage Month Celebration co-sponsored by i5 Teaching LLC and the Gales Ferry District

Please note that i5 Teaching Network is collecting new underwear and sox in September and October through our Undercover Operations Project for the New London Homeless Hospitality Center and Safe Futures, formerly hte Women's Center of SECT at all events. Optional but appreciated.
