Living Well-Simple Tips for Daily Life

Looking for some answers and advice on aging?  Our Shoreline Community Association “OSCA” is kicking off its “Living Well – Simple Tips for Daily Life” series on Monday evening January 24 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Mystic & Noank Library (Ames Room).  The first presentation in this series is, “Eating for Better Health and Vitality” by Laura ElyMs. Ely will discuss ten tips for making healthy lifestyle choices and eating for energy. Samples of some healthy foods will be provided.  The evening is free and open to the public.  OSCA members and non-members are encouraged to attend. Laura Ely is a Health and Wellness Coach, trained and certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Columbia University Teacher’s College.  She is also trained as an Energy Medicine Practitioner and Reiki Master. The “Living Well – Simple Tips for Daily Life” presentations will be geared to those aged 55 and better but all are welcome.  OSCA offers a world of services, solutions and social activities to seniors. The series is just one more program to help seniors stay put in their own homes in their own towns. For information or to RSVP, please contact Stephanie Panagos, OSCA Coordinator at (860) 271-1681.
