Douglas M. Thompson, Director of the Goodwin-Niering Center for the Enviroment and Professor of Geology at Connecticut College will present "The Life of a Glacier" focusing on how glaciers form, move and evolve through time. The talk will include a history of past climatic periods in Connecticut preserved in glacial landforms. All progrms are free and open to the public.
