Facebook Post Helps Man Living In Car Find Place To Stay Warm
A man living in his car now has a place to stay warm this winter thanks to a Facebook post and the generosity of people he had never met.

LEDYARD, CT - Were it not for a simple Facebook post, a Gales Ferry man might have been stuck out in the cold this holiday season, NBC Connecticut reported. Brad Kelsey has been living out of his car for the last year and a half, where he and his dogs would sleep at risk of freezing.
After businesses would not allow Kelsey to park his car on site, a supervisor with the Ledyard Food Pantry asked on Facebook if anyone knew a place he could safely park, according to NBC Connecticut. A Navy officer instead offered his camper as a place where Kelsey and his dogs could stay for the winter.
The owner of H&H Landscaping in Ledyard also offered Kelsey a generator to provide the camper with electricity for heat, NBC Connecticut reported. People who saw the Facebook post have offered Kelsey sleeping bags and other supplies as well.
