Foxwoods Announces Official Opening Of Highflyer Zipline

Foxwoods has announced the official opening date of a thrilling hotel-based zipline that towers over 30 stories high.

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino announced this week that the highly anticipated Foxwoods HighFlyer Zipline will open to the public on Thursday, March 15. The zipline is the next phase of Foxwoods’ long-term development plan to provide guests with unparalleled outdoor adventure experiences.

The Foxwoods Highflyer Zipline is a 33-story high, adrenaline-pumping adventure that propels riders from the top of the Fox Tower to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Centerat at top speed of 60 miles per hour, according to a release.

This one-of-a-kind adventure will allow guests to soar above the stunning grounds of the Mashantucket Pequot reservation on four parallel lines running over 3,750 feet long. Following last fall’s opening of the Thrill Tower at Foxwoods, the addition of the zipline speaks to the resort’s ongoing commitment to building an all-inclusive Northeast destination that offers unique experiences beyond traditional gaming.
