Foxwoods Announces September Gaming Initiatives

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier resort destination, is continuing to bring exciting tournament action for guests to win big. As summer turns to fall, Foxwoods guests can win big by playing in the Pro Football Challenge, Poker Monday Madness and more, according to a release.

$300,000 Pro Football Challenge

Football season is back, which means it’s time to make your picks and win big. The Foxwoods Pro Football Challenge is giving away $300,000 between September 5 and January 1. Visit any promotional football kiosk and make your picks for each Sunday and Mondaynight football game. The player with the most correct picks each week will win $2,500, plus 50 players will be randomly selected each week to win Rewards Points and Bonus Slot Play. Get at least 192 correct picks during the season for a chance to score a touchdown of your own, worth $250,000.

5 Dragons Grand Slot Promotion

From now until Friday, September 15 you can set your luck on fire and play with your Foxwoods Rewards card for a chance to participate in the 5 Dragons Grand Slot Promotion. Simply play your favorite slot machine in the Great Cedar, Grand Pequot or Fox Tower casinos for your chance to receive a winning FoxPerx ticket. All winning tickets may be redeemed to play in the event on Friday, September 15 at the Great Cedar Casino between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Participants will be invited to play 5 spins at $5 per spin, receive a free 5 Dragons-themed mystery gift and take home all winnings.

Simpson’s Slot Promotion

From Friday, September 1, until Saturday, September 30, play with your Foxwoods Rewards card for a chance to participate in the Simpson’s Slot Promotion. Simply play your favorite slot machine in the Great Cedar, Grand Pequot or Fox Tower casinos for your chance to receive a winning FoxPerx ticket. All winning tickets may be redeemed to play in the event on Saturday, September 30 at the Great Cedar Casino between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Participants will be invited to play five spins at $3 per spin and take home all winnings.

Email Yourself $1,000,000

Until September 30, all guests 21 years of age or older who visit Foxwoods can enter to win up to $1,000,000. Guests can enter their name and email address into the Email Yourself $1,000,000 Kiosk and spin to win. Prizes include bonus slot play, Foxwoods VIP Packages, bonus Foxwoods Rewards points, overnight stays, show tickets or the grand prize of a $1,000,000. The game stations are located next to the Grand Ballroom and on the Great Cedar Concourse adjacent to the Foxwoods Rewards booth.

25th Anniversary Novelty Games Tournaments

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday this September in the Rainmaker Casino, Foxwoods guests can win their share of over $100,000 in cash and prizes. Guests may simply present their Foxwoods Rewards card at the tournament to participate and the top 25 players from each day will win up to $250 cash. The guest with the highest score each week will qualify to play in the Novelty Games Championship on October 28 and the chance to win a share of $100,000 again. The tournament runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each participating day.

25th Anniversary Wheel of Wonder

In celebration of Foxwoods’ 25th Anniversary, guests arriving on a domestic or international bus line the fourth Tuesday of every month will have the chance to win great prizes! Twenty-five guests who arrive between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. will be randomly selected to spin the Wheel of Wonder located in the bus lobby. Prizes include overnight stays, gift cards, dining experiences, bonus slot play, match play, show tickets and 25th Anniversary gift items. Winners’ names will be displayed on the TV screens in the bus lobby beginning at 1:30 p.m. Twenty-five winners will be selected every month until December 26.

Poker Monday Madness

Monday Madness returns to Foxwoods on September 25. Guests can play in the largest poker room on the East Coast for a chance to take home their share of the guaranteed $36,000. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the High Hand Cash Giveaway will award $1,000 every hour and half hour, $500 every quarter of and quarter after the hour and $100 payouts pre and post Monday Madness times.
