Foxwoods Resort Casino to Kick Off 25th Anniversary Celebrations this Month

MASHANTUCKET, CT - As 2017 marks Foxwoods® Resort Casino's 25th Anniversary, Foxwoods is excited to invite the local community to a day filled with entertainment, a giant cake cutting, luxurious prize giveaways and more to commence the yearlong celebration.

The event takes place Wednesday, February 15, starting at 2 p.m., according to a release.

Foxwoods will hold an on-property ceremony that includes a performance from Rich Money Beatz. Also on the docket are speeches from Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council Chairman Rodney Butler and Foxwoods’ CEO & President Felix Rappaport, and a giant 16’x13’ cake cutting.

In true Foxwoods fashion, guests will be able to enter raffles for over $250,000 in prizes and giveaways, including a luxurious Foxwoods getaway, Rolex watches, sporting event tickets (including Patriots and Red Sox tickets) and more. Guests will also see the live reveal of the Foxwoods Dream Wedding Giveaway winner!

The celebration continues with a pair of must-see free concerts as pop phenom Kesha takes the Grand Theater stage at 7 p.m. and Motown legend Smokey Robinson returns to the Fox Theater at 7:30 p.m. Guests can line up starting at noon on February 15 at the respective box office to receive a free ticket to the show of their choice.
