Foxwoods Security Officer Punched In Face: Report

MASHANTUCKET, CT — A Foxwoods Resort Casino security officer said she is recovering days after being punched in the face while responding to a report of a fight, the New London Day reported. She was subsequently taken to an emergency room, where she was treated and released.

According to the New London Day, Brooke Wyngaard said a man punched her in the face as she came around a corner in The Fox Tower early Sunday morning. Mashantucket Pequot tribal police said they have identified the suspect and have applied for an arrest warrant.
