Foxwoods Thrill Tower To Reopen For Season

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino has announced Foxwoods Thrill Tower, one of the newest wonders at the resort, will reopen for the season on Thursday, April 12. The extreme thrill ride includes two rides: the Sky Drop and Sky Launch.

On the breathtaking Sky Drop, four riders at a time are lifted to the top of Thrill Tower before free-falling 120 feet to the bottom. This ride utilizes a state-of-the-art magnetic braking system to safely ensure a smooth, yet gripping free-fall experience, according to a release.

Sky Launch, which is equally adrenaline-inducing, propels two riders sitting back-to-back from the ground to the top of Thrill Tower and back again at jaw-dropping speeds. Sky Launch delivers a truly unmatched soaring sensation.

Adding even more exciting reasons to visit the resort, Foxwoods recently announced the opening of Foxwoods HighFlyer Zipline. The HighFlyer Zipline is a 33-story high, adrenaline-pumping adventure that propels guests from the top of the Fox Tower to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center.

Later this summer, Foxwoods is set to open its On Track Karting experience, a high-performance, European-style indoor karting center. The track, which will feature dramatic elevation changes and hairpin turns, is set to join Foxwoods’ impressive portfolio of adventure attractions.
