Garage Leveled By Fire In Gales Ferry: Report

GALES FERRY, CT — Fire officials said a garage was leveled and at least three adults were displaced following a blaze Saturday night at a two-story Maid Marion Drive home, which prompted response from 13 fire companies, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, officials said flames were shooting from the attached garage when firefighters arrived, and some departments provided tanker trucks of water due to the area not having hydrants. No one was home when the blaze began and no one was injured, officials said.
