Girl Scout Troop #63100 Shows Their Creative Side

This is our first blog and chance to say hello to those who do not know us. We are the Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. Inc. with C.H.A.I.N. standing for "Citizens Helping Animals in Need." Our purpose is to serve as a resource for the animals and pet owners of Ledyard and Gales Ferry and to be a helping hand to the Ledyard Animal Control. There are so many things we want to accomplish such as special events for the pets; educational seminars on pet care, safety, and training; and of course to be a helping hand to the Ledyard Animal Control in anything they need for the animals they look out for. So, Girl Scout Troop #63100 got together and made for us donation jars to put in local businesses as a way to help us raise money. The girls did a wonderful job and showed off their creative side by decorating the cans themselves. We so appreciate their help and support. By doing this project they were awarded their Bronze Stars! Below is a list of the girls that worked on this project. If you know them let them know how much you appreciate their hard work. Thank you's to: Jada Johnson Laura Pellowski Elena Lancaster Christina Dio Taryn Chase Brianna Wilson Madison Trout Rebecca Baron Sofia Priebe Meredith Brown Summer Beebe Bianca Planeta Jillian Rezendes Any business that would be interested in letting us put a donation jar on your counter or a collection box for pet food and supplies please contact us at ledyardchain@gmail.com or call at 860-287-3504.
