Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. Inc has only been in operation for about 3 months and we have been amazed at the generosity our community has shown us in our fundraising efforts. One such fundraiser is an Amazon Wish List which is set up with goods needed by the Ledyard Animal Control. I have been humbled and amazed at the response. This is not the complete list but a peek of what we have received for the months of May and June 2013:
Dry Cat/Kitten Food: 80.6 lbs
Canned Cat/Kitten Food: 144 cans
Canned Kitten Milk: 22 cans
Dry Puppy/Dog Food: 39.8 lbs.
Canned Dog Food: 12 cans
Dog Treats: 17.25 lbs.
Cat Litter 18 lbs
This is not counting the toys, dog/cat beds, and other goodies that have been sent. Most all of the donations came to us anonymously so we couldn't thank the donors personally but you know who you are. Your generosity is so appreciated not only by Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. but also by Ledyard Animal Control and the animals who reap the benefits.
