Ledyard Emergency Workers Find Large Amount of Drugs After Responding to Call

Though a man needed medical attention, 152 grams of cocaine and more were also found at the scene.

LEDYARD, CT- Emergency workers found narcotics and other drugs after responding to an emergency call from a Ledyard man, which police seized, The Day reported.

A call was placed close to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday by an unidentified man, 33, to which Ledyard Fire Company and Ledyard Ambulance responded, according to The Day. They found narcotics upon arrival and suspected the man had overdosed, though he is expected to recover.

Police were called to the scene and found more narcotics and drugs, including 152 grams of cocaine and a pound of marijuana, The Day reported. Police are still investigating the situation, though an arrest is expected in the near future.
