Ledyard Head-On Collision Injures Two Women: Police
A late morning crash resulted in two women becoming injured.
LEDYARD, CT – A head-on accident involving two cars sent two women to the hospital Tuesday, The Day reported.
The crash occurred close to 11 a.m. near Long Cove Road, according to The Day. Police said the incident resulted from one of the vehicles crossing the road into oncoming traffic.
A 50-year old woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while a woman in her 20’s was treated at a hospital and released, The Day reported. Police are still investigating the situation.
