Ledyard Man Charged With Brandishing Gun In Road Rage Incident
A Ledyard man is facing charges that he pointed a gun at another driver, according to police.
LEDYARD, CT — A Ledyard man was charged following a road rage incident in which he was accused of brandishing a gun, according to police. Edward Moore, of 5 Spicer Hill Road, was charged with first-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, and breach of peace.
Police received a call Thursday at 12:30 p.m. regarding a road rage incident on Colonel Ledyard Highway in Ledyard that involved a driver pointing a gun at another driver. Police located the suspect vehicle a short while later in Groton.
Following an investigation, Moore was charged. Police seized a black 9mm handgun from Moore during the traffic stop.

He was released on $5,000 bond and will appear in court Oct. 7.
