Ledyard Man Charged In Road Rage Incident: Police
A Ledyard man has been charged in connection with a road rage incident last week, according to police.
LEDYARD, CT — A man was charged in a road rage incident in Ledyard, according to police. Paul Carner, 58, of Ledyard, was charged with breach of peace.
Police received a complaint regarding a road rage incident on Silas Deane Road on Thursday. Police said Carner was driving on Silas Deane Road and became angered by a car traveling too closely behind him.
Carner then slammed on his brakes almost causing an accident, according to police. He then exited his car and confronted the other driver who was still in her car and began screaming at her, police said.

Carner was taken into custody at his home without incident
He was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on July 7.
