Ledyard Man Drives Intoxicated, Leads Police on Pursuit: Report

LEYDARD, CT - Police said a Ledyard man is facing DUI charges after he failed to obey a stop sign and led officers on a pursuit, News 8 reported.
Police attempted to pull over William Ohearn, 34, on Friday after he neglected to stop at a stop sign on Long Cove Road, according to News 8. Officers said he refused to stop, even after they turned on their sirens.
The suspect eventually got out of his car at a Parkwood Drive residence and was taken into custody, News 8 reported. Ohearn was discovered to be intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and in possession of marijuana.
