Ledyard Man Tased After Robbery Attempt, Telling Clerk to Call Police: Report
Police said the man was later found with a black TV remote tucked into his waistband.

LEDYARD, CT - Police said a Ledyard man was arrested Friday afternoon after a robbery attempt and struggle, The Day reported.
Alex Huezo, 36, allegedly robbed the Pumpkin Hill Market and told the clerk to call the police, according to The Day. The clerk refused and frustrated Huezo, who threw the money and told his girlfriend to call the police.
Officers located Huezo at a Gallup Hill Road apartment, where he ignored their verbal commands and said he had a gun, The Day reported. Police were able to approach the suspect from the side and tased him, finding a black TV remote tucked into his waistband.
