Ledyard Middle School Scholars Named

Haley Hinton and Michael Larmann were selected as the Ledyard Middle School scholars. They were honored at an awards dinner sponsored by The Connecticut Association of Schools and McDonald's Restaurants.

The Monday night ceremony was at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington,

Haley and Michael were selected based on their academics, leadership skills, and extra-curricular activities. They were nominated by their teachers, principal and their guidance councilor.

Michael is an active member of the LMS band (playing the drums) and also enjoys playing baseball and soccer. 

Haley was a member of the the LMS basketball and cross-country teams and volunteers at the United Way of Southeastern CT.
