Ledyard, Montville Reporting Significant Power Outages

Utility company Eversource is reporting that as of about 10:45 a.m. Friday, more than 430 of its customers in Montville are without power, part of an outage affecting more than 15,600 customers throughout the state.

In Ledyard, more than 900 customers are without power, and in Waterford more than 700 are without power.

Eversource officials say outages are mainly caused by the heavy, wet snow bringing down trees, limbs and wires.

Glastonbury has the most outages in the state with more than 1,600 customers without power.
