Mayor John Rodolico's assistant Mark Bancroft announced that Eileen Duggan has been selected as Ledyard's new town attorney, The Bulletin reported.
Duggan takes the place of Meredith Diette, who held the position while Fred Allyn Jr. served as mayor, the article said.

According to The Bulletin, Duggan is a director at Suisman Shapiro Attorneys at Law in New London. Citing her biography on the Suisman Shapiro website, the article says she is also the town attorney for Groton.
