Ledyard Police Arrest Man After Cocaine Falls Out of Pocket

Police said a bag of cocaine fell out of the suspect's pocket as he was checking into a hotel.

LEDYARD, CT – Police responded to a hotel Saturday morning after a man was allegedly found with cocaine, Fox 61 reported.

Ryan Laplante, 21, had been taken to the Two Trees Hotel by Foxwoods Resort and Casino security Saturday morning, according to Fox 61. Security said they took him to the hotel because he was inebriated.

Police said a bag of cocaine fell out of Laplante’s pocket as he was checking in, according to Fox 61. He was subsequently arrested by police and is due in court on Nov. 15.
