Help Regina and LPD Battle Cancer

Regina Brulotte, Ledyard's Director of Management Information Systems, is in treatment after a recent cancer diagnosis. She is fighting a strong battle and has a tremendously positive attitude. Ledyard PD is coming out strong as "backup" for Regina with a No Shave November initiative.

Here's how it works:

Chief Rich has suspended the regulations on facial hair growth for the month of November. Officers will be allowed to report for duty with facial hair growth beyond department policy, in support of patients like Regina, who normally lose their hair during treatment.

Officers will donate money they would spend on shaving and grooming supplies toward cancer research. Together with Regina, LPD has selected the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Jimmy Fund to receive our support. The Jimmy Fund supports children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

If you want to help, please follow this link to our donation page, and share if you wish.

Thanks from LPD and please keep Regina in your thoughts. GO REGINA!!!
